Our Play Classes are 45 minutes long and meet once a week for eight to ten weeks per session. We sing, play, and learn in small classes of 12 children or less. Each week we focus on a themed topic such as food, toys, or animals. For information about supporting materials you will have available to use at home , please see our materials page We also teach the Signing Smart Parent Workshop, which provides a great introduction to the Signing Smart program. This workshop is recommended for expectant parents, parents with babies too young to start the Signing Smart Play Class series (under 5-6 months), caregivers who would like to sign with and/or support signing efforts with the child(ren) they care for, and anyone else interested in signing with hearing infants and toddlers! The Signing Smart Workshop for Child Care Centers offers a powerful tool to train child care staff members in how to start Signing Smart with the children in their care, leading to calmer, more manageable, and more enjoyable school time for both caretakers and children! Signing Child is a licensed Signing Smart educator serving the central, northern and western Denver metro area. We specialize in the Signing Smart Beginner and the Signing Smart Talking Toddlers Play Classes where families with children from 5 months to 2 years old learn how to integrate ASL signs and Signing Smart strategies into daily life while enjoying a play class environment. |
